There are some interesting things you can do with crochet. Take a fraying top and add a crochet collar or lengthen it with a crochet trim at the bottom. For those whose favorite jeans have seen better days, you can convert your jeans into a skirt by adding a crochet insert in both the front and back. For new arrivals to the family to can stray away from the traditional baby colors and try using organic cotton. Organic cotton comes in neutral colors, is soft to the touch and is durable after washing. For those women who like to wear shawls but prefer a shawl that stays in place, try creating a Moebius Shawl which is crocheted in a continuous “figure 8” pattern. How about brining back the good old “Sixties”. Check out my Links page for vintage crochet patterns as well as other patterns used and presented on this site.
All in all, crocheting is fun, creative, and relaxing. You can’t image how many complements you’ll get when you begin sporting a unique accessory or garment. For those of you who are not quite there with crocheting your own items, consider some of the items on these pages. You won’t regret it!
